A successful transformation with Arkopharma

Arkopharma, a European leader in phytotherapy and dietary supplements, undertook an ambitious project to modernize its visual identity and comply with new waste sorting regulations. To make this complex project a success, Arkopharma called on the expertise of project management specialists MIGSO-PCUBED. This case study illustrates the challenges faced, the solutions provided, and the benefits obtained through our collaboration.

The challenge

Arkopharma needed to redeploy its logo and new visual identity across all its markets and brands. However, as Anne Donnay – a member of Arkopharma’s executive committee – explains, “We didn’t have a measure of the design studio’s workload, nor a clear understanding of the tasks required to make this transformation a success.” Our client also needed to clarify the various tasks involved in implementing the new logo and design across all their products.

The solution

Our PMO consultant approached the mission by focusing on several key actions:

  • Understand organizational workstreams,
  • Clarify the project’s scope and schedules,
  • Optimize exchanges between teams,
  • Facilitate the design studio’s task management.

To achieve these objectives, our PMO consultant set up and managed the project schedules and objectives, ensured team coordination, and facilitated the resolution of roadblocks.

Our role as a PMO was central to the implementation and management of the schedules and objectives. Thanks to excellent communication and key interpersonal skills, we succeeded in getting the teams to adhere to the new working methods and project objectives. “Good interpersonal skills are a key competence for a PMO to achieve its objectives,” emphasized our consultant.

Benefits

The results of the project are very positive. Within the first phase of the project 100% of Arkopharma’s products in France, which was over 1,500 products, were successfully upgraded with the new design features. Furthermore, the impact of our involvement extended far beyond the operational aspect. The management tools and KPIs put in place during this engagement are still used by Arkopharma and have even been extended to other departments.

The partnership between Arkopharma and MIGSO-PCUBED has been beneficial at every level. In addition to the concrete results achieved, our approach of combining strategic vision with operational intervention capacity has been especially appreciated. The result was a fruitful collaboration that exceeded the project’s initial expectations, making this mission a real success.
